20 min. lessons for 5 yrs and under are $20.00 (offered for only first two months of lessons) 1/2 hour lessons are $35.00 3/4 hour lessons are $45.00 1 hour lessons are $55.00 1/2 hour SKYPE lessons are $35.00 Semi-Private 1/2 hour GUITAR lessons are $25.00 per student (2 students max.)
If a student is interested in two concentrations (i.e. voice and guitar or voice and piano), a minimum of 45 minutes is acceptable, but 1 hour is recommended and the lesson time is divided into both subjects.
Policy Statement 1. Absences per Quarter: There will be two absences allowed per quarter. (A quarter is every three months from start of lessons.) If you have two weeks vacation planned during the quarter, just let me know ahead of time when you will be absent. If you have more than two weeks that you will not be attending for whatever reason, please make arrangements to pay for the full month and plan on a make-up being made either by an entire separate lesson, or two increments of time added to your regular lesson time. For Example, you may have two 45-minute lessons to make up for the one thirty minute lesson you miss (15 minutes added on twice).
2. Illness or Emergency: If the student wakes up or becomes ill on the day of his/her lesson, you certainly may call and reschedule. However, if they are absent because they have forgotten their lesson or have a scheduling conflict and do not make prior arrangements (two days notice would be great), the lesson is forfeited and a make-up lesson will not be offered. The point being, please call ahead.
3. Make-ups: Every effort on my part will be made to give make-ups for lessons missed during the SAME month only. Make-ups can not be carried over into the following month unless the lesson missed is the last one of that month.
4. One Month Notice: If you are going to stop lessons, please do so by informing me one month in advance. My preference is that you would think of your lessons on a quarterly basis, and come three months at a time, even though you are paying month-to-month.
5. When is Payment due? Regardless of when your lessons occur in the monthly calendar, payment is due no later than the last lesson proceeding the upcoming month. If you are coming on the 28th for your last lesson, then payment is due that day for the following month. You are responsible for seeing that payment is made by the last day of the month.
